Truees~scents is a boutique distillery that was established to help promote the use of botanical essences native to Alaska. We are nestled between two river valleys near the Chugach Mountains, sixty miles northeast of Anchorage. Alaska is considered one of very few places left on Earth as "vibrationally" pure. It is the life force, or soul of the land that burns brightly, and is in balance and harmony with all of its plant, mineral, and elemental relations. It is the gift from the plant kingdom here that is paramount in our co-creative relationship that exists between each plant species that we have asked to work with. All plant forms have had to develop special adaptations to survive in Alaska's intense climate that is constantly changing and transforming. The cold and forbidding nature of the long winters followed by short summers of endless light, the purity of the soil, and the water from a deep artesian well are what adds to the uniqueness of the scent produced after a distillation.
